Highgunner's Story
Highgunner was born in 2002. Early training for the track left Highgunner with stiff ankles and foot problems. He was rescued at auction in late 2004 by Drs. Sheryl Fulop and Ken Lian. As the first step in his rehabilitation, Highgunner was turned out in a pasture with a miniature horse named Chopper. They quickly became best friends. Come see the rest Highgunner's story of returning to the track and transitioning to other jobs.

Highgunner educates us about the problems within thoroughbred racing and inspires us to make a difference. His attitude can be summed up in the phrase, "Don't stop me now!" Click here to see his story.
