Through our core philosophy of passion and logic, our goal is to have horses "wanted" instead of "rescued.” Our solution envisions a "multi-career culture" that makes these horses relevant to society by planning for their first and future careers. By relevant we mean they are wanted for careers such as show horses, companions horses, endurance horses, therapy horses, etc. This new culture will be implemented through an innovative educational center that will make horsemanship and horse welfare concepts readily available to the thoroughbred community. By doing so, "WANTED HORSES" will grow exponentially because we will:
1) Increase horsemanship and horse welfare concepts in training, allowing horses to reach their greatest potential in all of their careers.
2) Prevent horses from becoming "unwanted" in the first place by changing the training philosophy from "single-career" into "multi-career" training.
3) Promote relevancy of the breed in order to increase demand and show that thoroughbreds are social, versatile, and athletic.
4) Save many "unwanted horses" by teaching others how to transition train.
5) Restore & Sustain the tradition of horsemanship and horse welfare by educating future generations.
